Ryan’s Place

So, I’m sitting sipping an intensely over sweetened mocha at the centre bar in Pacific Centre, thinking to myself;

“You know what Ryan? You haven’t blogged at all in a long time!”

I replied instantly with: “I know eh? I really should do something about that.”

The old woman at the opposite table looked at me pointedly like I was an idiot. I then realized I was talking to myself. Score one for the universe, big zero for the guy who hasn’t finished his coffee.

Truth be told, I just haven’t gotten back into writing all that much. I’m really starting to think I should be, but when one comes home completely unmotivated, it’s hard to do much of anything. I’m also starting to find blogging awkwardly self-serving, which is ironic considering my completely self-serving point of this blog. Such a vicious circle.

Sip. Gah. Note to self, cafe supreme is baad.

Anyways, I will endeavor to post more. I know I’ve said that before, but I promise I will do it this time!

Or at least maybe when the coffee improves…

… To blog more, I just haven’t taken the time to do it, I haven’t taken the time to do a lot of things lately, and I regret that.

I have a few excuses for that though and in my typical fashion I will list them out in Chronological Order.

After Chicago, I’ve been busy, but to recap: Chicago was Awesome, Lightspeed is an awesome Point of Sale product and should be used by anyone wanting to open a Mac-based boutique store of any kind. Except food/hospitality. I hope to go to the next Cert Camp in Montreal, but we will see.

Happy birthday to me; Officially 21 as of April 17th.

I Moved! So far I’m trying the Kits life and finding it very different than living in Yaletown. No drunken howlers. Yet. It’s been an experiment since May 1st.

And Now it’s June, and I’ve been busy at work, I’ve also been testing out some Beats Tours by Dr. Dre to see how they sound, I’ll have an update on them soon. And I will have a review for my new laptop bag: http://www.chromebagsstore.com/bags/laptop-bags/soma.html

What’s this blog thinger?

Is it like something I’m supposed to write on, like, all the time? Like, ugh, seriously?

So I haven’t touched the blog in a little while, My bad. It’s not like I’ve been busy I know, but job hunting is hard, and wasn’t exactly fruitful until now. That being said, well, consider myself employed. Everybody calm down though, we will see how it goes, it’s not exactly the career advancer I’ve always wanted. Be that as it may, It pays the bills, and maybe puts some money away for a PMP certification and that’s career advancing.

It’s coming up on thanksgiving (yes, this is Canada), and I’m finding that life couldn’t be more…. Well, I’m not sure how to describe it. At any one given moment it changes from exciting to depressing to loving to hating, to the most interesting depressing, zanax coma inducing part of my life.

I’m not sure I like it.

Maybe that’s a good thing.
